What does WiFi have in common with Whale Sharks?

I was asked to say a few words at Fred’s retirement party. Without more than a moment’s thought, I knew just how to approach the task. So, when I got up in front of a packed room a few weeks later, I began with the quote that had immediately sprung to mind earlier… “All progress […]

Things We Can Choose…

None of us are, or can be perfect. That’s something that’s reserved for [ ] (fill in the blank with you personal meta). But all of us can be authentic, transparent, courageous and can act with integrity.  Those qualities lie at the very base of what it takes to earn the right to lead. If […]

Big Sur Road Trip

It was a great day for a top-down photo road trip to Big Sur. (It's amazing how much you can pack into a day when you're up at 3:15…) Ellie and I visited CA for the first time in 1978, for our honeymoon, and fell in love with this stretch of coastline. Play the "Point Sur" […]

Who Goes There?

Welcome!

I built this site (in 2004) around the idea that the conventional divisions between professional and personal life are artificial. They don't reflect how we live, work, and play today.

I don't shut down my professional responsibilities (with rare exceptions) on evenings, weekends, or holidays. Our competitive environment doesn't permit that, and I'd get bored.

Further, it occurs to me that if you are interested in doing business with me somehow, you should be interested in Rich Bravman, the person.

So, whether you're an entrepreneur looking for specific ideas on how to put your vision into practice, an investor looking for an experienced advisor or board member, a friend, colleague, or simply someone curious about what a fellow human thinks... Welcome!

Warning: eccentricities lie ahead in these pages. (Even at this late date in 2023, I like it that way.)
