Triptych: Rooms with a View, Part I

I don't really have an office, per se, in our downtown NY executive headquarters location.Rather, I've been using Conference Room B, or C on occasion, whenever I work here — here being the 35th floor of 7 World Trade Center (mailing address 250 Greenwich Street). Adjacent rooms, each about fifteen feet on a side, they […]

Innovate or else!

Fact One:I'm on the Incubation Board at my company, and chair the subcommittee responsible for raising the internal profile and encouraging the use of our "OpenIdea Portal," a tool to allow all of our employees to post, comment on and rate ideas for innovation. Fact Two:I used to love National Lampoon. Combining Facts One and […]

A Walk in the Woods

I took a walk in the woods today, in a small park not far from home. Some pictures were there for the taking, so I did. Rusty, a bit perfunctory, but serviceable toward heeding a “just do it” cry from the spirit. I thought I’d share them to get back into this habit too… something […]

Who Goes There?

Welcome!

I built this site (in 2004) around the idea that the conventional divisions between professional and personal life are artificial. They don't reflect how we live, work, and play today.

I don't shut down my professional responsibilities (with rare exceptions) on evenings, weekends, or holidays. Our competitive environment doesn't permit that, and I'd get bored.

Further, it occurs to me that if you are interested in doing business with me somehow, you should be interested in Rich Bravman, the person.

So, whether you're an entrepreneur looking for specific ideas on how to put your vision into practice, an investor looking for an experienced advisor or board member, a friend, colleague, or simply someone curious about what a fellow human thinks... Welcome!

Warning: eccentricities lie ahead in these pages. (Even at this late date in 2023, I like it that way.)
